6 BENEFITS OF TRIMMING YOUR HAIR

Trimming is simply getting rid of the damaged and dead ends of your hair.

Some people trim their hair once or twice a year, well, I think  trimming should be done when needed but not every washday or every week because if you do so, it is going to cause more harm than good.

You can always visit a professional hairstylist to trim your hair, I said professional because you don't want to meet someone that would cut half of your hair or you can do it yourself if you are bold enough.

BENEFITS OF TRIMMING

1. it minimizes split ends

Hey!  The truth is that you can not permanently stop split ends,  once your ends are split you trim it.  The bad thing about split end is that once left with out trimming, it becomes wider and begins  to move up there by making your hair look scanty and unhealthy.  So don't be afraid to get rid of those split ends.

This is what split ends look like.

2. It reduces single strand knots.

3. It makes your hair to appear healthier and  fuller.
Once the split ends is trimmed, your hair appears fuller.

4. It becomes more easier to untangle your hair .
Since there are no knots because you trimmed it out, your hand or comb would be able to slide through your hair with ease.

5. It minimizes frizz.

6. It helps to retain length.
Once your lengths are retained you begin to consciously see your growth. Trimming helps to retain lengths because it prevents the split ends from moving up and causing more damage.
