LET'S TALK AYURVEDIC!!

AYURVEDIC

We have heard people talk about Ayurvedic especially the herbs  and most of us don't even know what it is.

But before we talk about Ayurvedic herbs,  we need to know a little history about Ayurveda.

AYURVEDA HEALING

Ayurveda is a healing system that originated in  India thousands of years ago.

Ayurveda focuses on restoring balance on the body through a personalized plan that includes massage, exercise, herbs etc. and it's notion is that good health depends on the balance between the  mind, body and spirit.

Ayurvedic theory says that everyone is made of a combination of five elements which are air, water, fire, earth and space which combine to form three energies called DOSHAS and the three doshas are VATA, PITTA and KAPHA.

VATA - relates to air and it's role is to be confined to our nervous system.

PITTA- relates to fire and it's role is digestion and metabolism.

KAPHA- relates to water and it's role is to lubricate joints, strengthening of immunity and protection of body tissues.

PITTA is the one that deals with our hair because of its role of metabolism.

Now that we know a little history about Ayurveda, let's know about the herbs.
